Black Friday SALE

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! Starting tonight at midnight we are going to be hosting our annual Black Friday sale. Everything in stock will be 30% off!

Make sure to “update cart” after entering the code FRIDAY30. Sale starts at midnight tonight and runs through midnight EST tomorrow (Friday) night.  This sale only applies to purchases made during this time. It can not be applied to prior purchases or for items not in stock. This code won’t work for downloads but don't worry you still will be getting 30% off. For the downloads we have already reduced the price 30% (because the checkout process is different with the downloads it won’t allow for the code).

We've got a bunch of items in stock so be sure to head on over to our shop now!

Have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Here are a couple pictures from our first attempt at getting our Christmas card picture. It was FREEZING the day we took these, as you can probably tell from the look on Lillie's face. =) We tried again a few days later when it was warmer and got some better shots which I'll share soon.

I also wanted to re-introduce one of our sponsors:

Nationally renowned interior designer, Jamie Herzlinger, revolutionizes the purchase of luxury furnishings from any "to the trade" manufacturer, with her online buying service JAMIESHOP.COM
All the furnishings, wallpaper, lighting, fabrics, rugs and home accessories seen in magazines, such as Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Traditional Home and House Beautiful, are now available for purchase at up to 50% off retail.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Christmas Placemats and More Wholesale Info

Our New 11 by 17 disposable Christmas Placemat Sets are now in stock! Just like the Thanksgiving ones they will come bound together in pads of 12 placemats and are printed on 60 lb cardstock so although they are lightweight and not something that would hold up to repeated daily use, with light use they could probably be used multiple times. (Please keep in mind they are not actual chalkboards, they are chalkboard prints). Each set comes with a cover sheet on top as shown below.

You can get a little peek at how the room is coming along in the next shot. I plan on doing a full dining room post next week showing some more of the progress we have made and will include sources and details for the new lamps and sideboard. You can find the sources and paint color for the other items here.

Also we wanted to let you all know that we were able to change some things around and lower our wholesale prices. If you are looking to place a wholesale order just e-mail us at dearlillie@hotmail.com and we will send you a wholesale ordering guide.

Have a wonderful week! I can't believe Thanksgiving is this week!

http://www.dearlillie.com/product/drummer-boy-24x36-canvas-in-cranberry

We now have our second Christmas Canvas available. Earlier this week we introduced our Merry Little Christmas Chalkboard Canvas and today we have our Red Drummer Boy Canvas available. Just like our other Christmas canvas this design is also 24" by 36" and features a .75" gallery wrap. Due to their large size they really make a statement on the wall. The canvas will arrive on your doorstep ready to be hung.

Our Faux Roman Shade

The first week we moved in we attacked Phase 1 of our kitchen makeover - you can see more pictures and more details here, here and here. (I am hoping in the not too distant future we will be undertaking Phase 2 which includes replacing the countertops, sink, and faucet and having the countertop overhang a little bit on the penisula so we can add some counter height stools.) Along with days and days of painting, and updating the hardware and appliances we knew we had to give the tiny little window an update too. The little scalloped trim piece came down and then we painted the window London Fog to go with the rest of the trim and cabinetry in this space. I really love the look of a roman shade, especially in a kitchen window so knew I wanted to go that route. Because of where this window is located, privacy isn't an issue so I knew we'd never need to pull it down so it didn't need to be a working roman shade. My sister, Jamie had made a faux Roman shade in her kitchen a while back so I just worked from memory on how she did hers. I didn't use a tutorial I just tried to remember as best I could how hers was and after I little bit of finangling I got it close enough and called it a day. (Here is the tutorial she used when making hers). I actually first did this with a temporary piece of fabric I had purchased for a few dollars this summer. It was a pretty toile in gray and white and although I liked it, it wasn't the feel I wanted in here (although I like country it was a little too country for my taste) but I knew it would make do until I found the right fabric. When my mom picked up this stripe for me at a store in NH I knew it would be perfect not only to recover our bench but for my window treatment as well and would help add a little bit of a punch in the kitchen but still remain neutral. And there it is - an updated window! Yay!

And seeing how even though Christmas is overtaking our home right now I thought I would share a few more "autumny" photos seeing how it is still November.

And also I wanted to remind you all that our Thanksgiving downloads are all available in our shop:

You can see last year's full Thankgiving tablescape post here.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Christmas Canvas

We are excited to be offering the first of two Christmas canvases tonight. These canvases are 24" by 36" and feature a .75" gallery wrap. Due to their large size they really make a statement on the wall. We know a lot of people love the large size of the downloads but don't want to have to worry about going to the trouble of printing and mounting them. This takes away the work - the canvas will arrive on your doorstep ready to be hung. I played around with my canvas and tried it in our guest bedroom (that we've made quite a bit of progress on in the past couple of weeks and once I get it accessorized a bit I will share some real photos) and above the fireplace as well.

I'll be back tomorrow with the window treatment I made in our kitchen for the window above our sink. Have a wonderful evening!
